All members of UBC’s community are invited to join CTLT, the AMS and the Faculty of Arts on September 18th for a discussion event titled “Midterm Evaluations of Teaching: Challenges and Opportunities.” This event will feature three short presentations on various facets of conducting MEoTs from CTLT Academic Director Simon Bates, Faculty of Arts Senior Associate Dean Janet Giltrow, and Faculty of Arts Assistant Professor Michael Griffin. These will be followed by group discussions on identifying and overcoming the challenges involved in adopting MEoTs as a widespread practice in the UBC context. Lunch will be provided.
